Frequently asked questions
Is the free tier actually usable, or is it a crippled trial?
It's a full product. Browse queues, peek at messages, send test messages, manage exchanges—everything you need to replace the built-in RabbitMQ UI. Pro adds power-user features like bulk operations and message templates, but Free covers the daily workflow.
How does licensing work for a self-hosted tool?
You get a license key that validates offline. Ticketman checks in periodically when connected, but it won't stop working if your server is air-gapped or temporarily offline.
Do I need to expose my broker credentials to use Ticketman?
No. Ticketman runs entirely on your infrastructure—locally or on an internal server. Your credentials never leave your network. We have no access to your brokers.
What's your refund policy?
30 days, no questions asked. If Pro isn't working for you, we'll refund the purchase. Paddle handles the transaction.
Can I use one Pro license across multiple machines?
Pro is licensed per seat. One license covers one developer across their devices. For teams, each developer needs their own seat.
What brokers do you support?
RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus today. Kafka and Amazon SQS are on the roadmap.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
You keep the version you have. Any version released while your subscription was active keeps working with full paid features, forever. You just won't receive updates released after your subscription ends. This applies to both Pro and Enterprise.
